Available Data

HETDEX will ultimately include source spectra for over 1 million Lyman Alpha Emitters at 1.9<z<3.5, 1 million OII emitting galaxies at z<0.5, 30K Active Galactic Nuclei, 200 K stars, and an additional 50K low-redshift galaxies.

Our aim is to release all our sources and provide access to the over 600 million fiber spectra collected for HETDEX. Currently, HETDEX AGN Catalog 1 and HETDEX Source Catalog 1 are available for download. We also offer Jupyter notebook access examples in the HETDEX Public JupyterHub hosted by the Texas Advanced Computing Center.

HETDEX Jupyter Lab

The public may gain access and to HETDEX public catalogs using the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) Jupyter Lab service. A TACC account is required to sign up. This will give you open access to the HETDEX Public JupyterHub. No other TACC resources may be accessed without a project allocation.
